1923 Mills Avenue

I've been following this blog for a bit now and I figured I'd share it. Definitely an interesting one for me since I've been wanting to buy an old barn and turn it into a livable area for quite some times. This couple (Sara and a guy who's name I still haven't figured out) bought an old brake repair shop and did some kind of step by step of how they turned it into their new home. Really cool and the results are just awesome. I suggest you start from the beginning to see how much work went into this. Tip of the hat to them.

I was looking at this yesterday, it turned out beautiful but at the risk of being very unpopular it still has a cold feel to me.

For some reason I posted before finishing my comment... It has more to do with the concrete floor, though the exposed tiles in the bathroom is pretty much one of the most amazing ideas I've seen.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. But I think they did a nice job of picking colors that warms up the place.

I seriously love the oven.

The oven is adorable! I love the kitchen and basically the whole idea of renovating an industrial building. Talking about all this makes me incredibly sad that I don't have the means of building my own home, just the way I like it. Oh also, having figured out the location of where that home would be haha.

So I stayed at the house two or three weeks ago. It's insane.

That stove isn't a throw back it's an OG. We made sweet coffee on it.

About the cold floors. There heated and they have a little tint brown in them it's a bit earthy. It warms it up.
